Check out our Boards & Committees. Find the board or committee that you would like to obtain more information from then select the roster/agenda/minutes from that respective board or committee.

How can I become involved?

How is the Polk TPO funded?

Our funding partners include: Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and Polk County.

Is the Polk TPO involved with other TPO/MPO's across Florida?

Yes, the Polk TPO is part of the West Central Florida MPO Chair’s Coordinating Committee (CCC) and the Central Florida MPO Alliance.

What is a TPO/MPO?

The Polk TPO, or Transportation Planning Organization, is a local organization created by federal legislation to increase local governments’ input regarding where and how transportation dollars will be spent.

What does the Polk TPO do?

The Polk TPO provides the forum for local elected officials and transportation experts to work together to improve mobility for Polk County residents, businesses and visitors.

Who serves on the Polk TPO board of directors

Local elected officials from Polk County, local jurisdictions in the region and representatives from the region’s transportation operating agencies.
